29September 2017, secara resmi EA akan merilis FIFA 18. EA menegaskan bahwa The Journey akan kembali dengan format yang sama namun cerita yang berbeda. FIFA 18 akan membawa upgrade tahunan seperti dalam grafis, fitur, dan gameplay juga untuk memperbaiki kekurangan dari seri FIFA 17.
